Square Ceramic Fuse, High Current, Medium Blow 0678L Series

Bel Fuse announces the expansion of their circuit protection, square ceramic, surface-mount designs with the medium-blow, high-current fuse series, type 0678L. The 0678L series, in a popular 3912 case size, will offer current ratings of 10 – 30 A at 250 V_AC / 72 V_DC.

With current ratings up to 30 A, these 0678L series fuses are ideal for protection of high-current backplane bus structures used in larger servers and storage systems. This series, with full 260°C IR process temperature capability, is intended to replace the popular SMM series which has a 240°C maximum IR process temperature limitation.

This version of surface-mount devices (SMD) has a ceramic body with silver-plated caps and is optimal for applications with operating temperatures of -55°C to 125°C.

The fuses come in tape-and-reel packaging with 2000 pieces per reel (16 mm wide tape on 13 in diameter reel).

The 0678L, medium-blow fuse is UL (UL/CSA 248-14 standard) component recognized for use in U.S. and Canada. The series is compatible with a 260°C, IR (infrared), lead-free solder process, is RoHS compliant (with exemption 7a), and halogen-free
