High-Current Molded Power Inductors - HCM/HPAL Series

Eaton inductors use pressed power and alloy construction, offering high-current carrying capacity and low core losses

Image of Eaton High-Current Molded Inductors - HCM/HPAL SeriesEaton molded HCM and HPAL inductors are rated for +125°C maximum operating temperature. The HCM core is powdered iron material and is magnetically shielded for low EMI. The HPAL series uses alloy powder, offering lower DCR and IRMS ratings. The inductance for these series ranges from 0.10 µH to 33.0 µH, and the current range is from 1.8 A to 118 A. The inductors are available in a variety of mechanical sizes and footprints and comply with lead-free, halogen-free, and RoHS standards.

Applications include voltage regulator modules (VRMs), multi-phase regulators, point-of-load modules, desktop, and server VRMs and EVRDs, base station equipment, notebook regulators, battery power systems, graphics cards, data networking, storage systems, and solar and wind applications.
