NXP's NTAG 5 product family is an NFC performance enhancer consisting of three product variants: switch, link, and boost. This product family offers configuration of PWM over NFC, an I²C master interface, direct access to sensors without the need for an MCU, and the possibility of a tiny antenna for small devices. These products offer longer range, scalable security, and an I²C slave interface as well. They are fully compliant with NFC forum specifications and are based on the ISO/IEC 15693 standard.
Designed as an MCU replacement in various gaming and lighting applications, this NFC bridge adds connectivity and increases flexibility while saving energy and lowering the bill of materials.
