The Amphenol SGX SensorTech family of metal oxide (MOX) sensors has a proprietary technology utilizing state-of-the-art MEMS technology combining a nanoparticle sensing layer with a patented poly-silicon heater. This unique design creates an extremely sensitive and responsive semi-conductor sensor capable of sensing oxidizing and reducing gases in the ppm range of gas concentration. This technology is ideal for low-cost low-accuracy applications such as automotive and leak detection.
