TRINAMIC introduces its PANdrive™ family, a full-mechatronic solution with TMCL™

Image of TRINAMIC PANdrive™ Smart Mechatronic Solutions TRINAMIC's PANdrive family is a full-mechatronic solution including a high-torque stepper motor and a motion controller/driver using TRINAMIC's latest technologies for stepper motor control. The PANdrive can be controlled via USB, CAN or RS485 or simple Step-/Direction signals. The power supply, interface, and the multipurpose I/Os can be connected with JST connectors. Latest spreadCycle chopper technology allows highest smoothness and high-speed operation. The internal sensOstep™ encoder can be used to detect step loss or to control the target position.

  • All PANdrive smart motors are available with TRINAMIC´s motion control language TMCL, that can be used standalone or bus controlled. For parameter search and programming the comprehensive development environment TMCL-IDE is available downloadable at TRINAMIC website free of charge.
  • Models with CAN interface are optionally available with industry standard CANopen® firmware to allow for easy integration into standard PLC controlled systems.
