The Vishay Mini Lug Temperature Sensor offers unmatched performance compared with industry standard lugs. One advantage is the small mounting space of the ring tongue terminal. The 0.1 in2 (65 mm2) mounting space makes it easy to work with when limited space is available. Due to it’s small dimensions and nickel conductor, the Mini Lug Sensor’s thermal gradient is less than 5% of delta temperature. Another key feature is it’s resistance tolerance, as low as ± 2%, at a reference temperature of 25°C. The Mini Lug Sensor complies with RoHS directive 2002/95/ EC and is also AEC-Q2000 qualified (automotive grade). The automotive grade label denotes that the component has been thoroughly tested and proven in the harshest environments. Finally, the Mini Lug Sensor has a very fast response time of less than 4 seconds.
