Mini Lug Temperature Sensors can be customized from a mechanical perspective for applications with specific design requirements. One way in which Mini Lug Sensors can be customized is by adjusting the lead length or type. Additionally, the stud size for screw mounting the sensor can be changed from the standard metric 2 mm M2 (American #1 or #2) to a custom size. For example, a metric 3 mm stud size (American #3 or #4) is available. If the designer chooses a Mini Lug Sensor without a connector, the electrical connection can be made by soldering, crimping, or welding. However, the biggest advantage to customization is the ability to interface the sensor with a connector. Within the three connector types; through hole, surface mount, and wire-to-wire, there are various connectors to choose from including both top entry and side entry for PCB connectors. Through customization, the Mini Lug Temperature Sensor can be designed into many applications.
